A year-round program opens daily from 6:30 am - 6:00 pm. We are closed for a week's vacation around July 4th and Christmas week. We are currently licensed for 12 children, ages 6 weeks up, but we are in process of being licensed for up to 30 children in the near future. 

Little Acorns is an outreach ministry of Oakland United Methodist Church, with the goal of providing a fun-loving affordable Christian daycare and pre-school environment. We also provide before-and-after-school care, including bus transportation, for a limited number of elementary and middle school children serviced in our area of responsibility. We will focus on the whole child as we gently encourage spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical growth, where your child can grow as an individual. We provide a hands-on experience with S.T.E.A.M, science, technology, engineering, art, and math. It is our intent to enhance children's opportunities to engage in S.T.E.A.M. learning and develop their critical thinking skills.
